6.1-magnitude earthquake hit Tonga
The quake struck at 9:52pm on Saturday (local time) under the sea around 450 kilometres north-east of the island nation's capital Nuku'alofa, the US Geological Survey said.
The epicentre of the quake was around 37 kilometres below the surface.
